Wineries, grape growing operations, or enough land to build them are becoming the hottest new symbol of the wealthy on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. Several prominent people have recently purchased properties, including ABC News chief legal correspondent Dan Abrams; real-estate mogul Sheldon Solow's son Stephanie Soloviev, Maria Rivero Gonzalez, whose family owns a vineyard in Mexico and former Goldman Sachs player and Tampa Bay Ravens general partner Randy Frankel. With property values soaring by 25% since the beginning of the pandemic, these owners have high hopes of growing grapes and profitable businesses.
