MORE ABOUT HEATHER
With roots as a fine art painter in New Mexico, as her vision evolved, she found her passion, her life’s work as a photographer. With that transition, Heather moved to Long Island, NY enjoying life by the beach, and proximity to New York City.
Heather is accredited with sensitivity training to meet the unique challenges of photographing the seriously ill and special needs individuals. She produced the Aging Out of Foster Care project for Salaam Garage, a digital storytelling organization that unites journalists, writers and photographers with international NGOs and local non-profits to produce projects that create positive social change.
Heather is a regular contributor to leading publications: The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Newsday. Clients also include Forbes Life, Consumer Reports, Hamptons Magazine, Edible Manhattan, and W.W. Norton & Co.
Her photography has been exhibited in prominent locations such as the National Arts Club and Lincoln Center.
